This privacy policy applies to the Simple MIDI Recorder mobile application for Android devices. This app is designed with Privacy by Design: it functions as a completely offline tool.

        The Short Version: This app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. It requires no device permissions and has no access to the internet.
    

1. Information Collection and Use

I do not collect, harvest, or request any personal information. Because the app does not require any permissions (such as access to your contacts, location, or camera), it is technically unable to access most data on your device.

2. Local Storage Only

Any data you enter into the Application is stored locally on your own device. I do not have access to this data, and it is never transmitted to a remote server. Your data is as secure as your physical mobile device.

3. No Internet Access

The Application does not have "Internet" permission. This means it is physically impossible for the app to send your information to me or any third party.

4. Open Source Transparency

As an open-source project, the source code for this Application is available for public audit. You can verify exactly how your data is handled by visiting the repository at: github.com/bunaventure/simple-midi-recorder

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Since I do not collect any data, I do not "retain" any data. If you wish to delete your data, you can do so by clearing the app cache or uninstalling the Application. I cannot delete your data for you because I never had access to it in the first place.

6. Children’s Privacy

This Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children because I do not collect information from anyone.
